Horribly embarrassing for the city of Boston and the state of Massachusetts. I'm no Aerosmith fan (I nearly cry every time someone says Aerosmith and not the Pixies were the most influential band out of Boston), but I'd take them over New Kids any day.

i was kidding, gosh!

Moderator cut: orphaned

Well, we disagree on that front, but that's okay. I don't like her bomb throwing delivery and think it's the right wing version of a James Carvill (sp?) but to me the actual text she writes isn't so far out. I dunno...

Last edited by Bo; 06-14-2009 at 08:06 PM.. Reason: orphaned - the post it refers to was deleted

and family moved to Ct. when she was a kid. Still don't like no matter where she is from. Single women raising criminals? Come on. I am sure all those 9/11 widows loved that comment.

Yea that's what she meant. Widows.

Her comment was about women having babies without the thought of having a father present and how it's wrong...and how single motherhood has gone from a bad thing to something glorified and perfectly normal. She is 100% correct.

If you disagree with her that's fine, at least be honest about it and not make fabricated comments like Ann thinks the 9/11 mothers are "bad".

Is she including them too?????? 50% of children today are being raised by "single" women, be they never married, divorced, or widowed. It is a fact of life today. Just having a married father and mother doesn't make for an ideal life for a child. That is a crock. Been there, done that, from a CHILD'S perspective. Better to have ONLY a Mom.

It seems to be me that someone who has never even been married, let alone a mother, she has no credibility.
