Fort Myers, FL

1. Has all the amenities of a good size metro (int'l airport, university, TV network afiliates etc) without the horrible crowds and traffic of other Florida (and other US) metros.
2. Awesome year round weather. One of the warmest parts of the entire country.
3. Great beaches that do not have anywhere near the bad crowds of other Florida beaches.
4. Very conservative politcally.
5. Excellent law enforcement. They don't fool around here....speeders beware.
