No, you don’t know me or my opinions as I have not stated them. I’m not so sure banning guns will work actually. It’s not just about guns, though it’s at least partially about guns. Do not write off my point with your assumptions about me, it makes you look weak and like you have no true response to my point about the number of deaths in such a short time and the severity of injuries and the overall importance of that - because you don’t.
As far as you not being a gun banner, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it's a duck.
Yeah, a .22 caliber bullet. Give me a break on the "exploding organs". Had he been serious about creating the maximum carnage he would have used a 12 gauge shotgun with an extended magazine tube.
Between 10 and 12 shots downrange within 7 or 8 seconds with hundreds of .30 caliber pellets burning holes in the air into a tightly packed crowd. The dead and wounded toll would have been double.
17 kids died needlessly last week. At least 58 died at a concert in Vegas. 27 people, mostly 6 and 7 year olds, died at Sandy Hook Elementary 5 years ago. That is what matters. Not arguing over what technical type of weapons were used. Dozens can be killed in minutes is what matters, with bullets so powerful they essentially explode organs.
And everyone who is sane will agree that those shootings were terrible.
But here's where your argument already loses.
Any bullet hitting an organ can make it explode.
A .22lr to the heart or kidney will explode.
By your logic it's a Good thing the shooter used at AR15 chambered in .223 and not an AR10 or an M1a chambered in .308 or there would be more people dead.
A .223 bullet is relatively speaking small. Its not big not heavy. Its small and fast. There are far more common deadly rounds available. 7.62x39 .308. .30-06 7.62x54r 6.5. 6.8
Etc..
As far as you not being a gun banner, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it's a duck.
You have no response to my very valid points. You'd rather try to label me as someone who is directly against you so you don't have to engage with me. Sad. Move along then.

Funny though, if I had an ar-15 and was told that it was going to be banned, I would gladly give it up to save children from being killed by said weapon. I wouldn't pitch a fit saying it's my right to have a *&#) gun!! The ar-15 is meant to kill people.
While we are arguing about what to do about these killing rampages by angry white males, more killings at schools are going to keep happening. Gun rights advocates aren't coming up with any solutions either. Arm the teachers?
How many teachers are willing to risk their lives going after a gunman in the school knowing that they will probably be killed. They would need an ar-15, right? Being that there are more female teachers I'm willing to bet very few will want to carry a gun and be responsible for stopping a killer.
Your continuing with the "exploding organs" just demonstrates how little knowledge about firearms and ballistics you have. Which means you then argue not from logic and intelligence but fro emotion and fear. That article you linked specifically takes advantage of your lack of knowledge and emotions.
Se below for a further explanation about "exploding organs".

And hundreds died last year and the year before and are headed that way this year in Chicago (with STRONG gun laws) and yet they get none of this hand wringing or any of your or others that are gun haters angst.
Why is that?
