It is their first store in NC, but not their first store. Their first store was in Massachusetts in the 1970's and they grew very popular in New England.
I called the Christmas Tree Shops and found out they are opening their first store in Greensboro. Hopefully, it will catch on across the state!

What number did you call??? I just tried the customer service number to confirm & find out the opening date & the rep said there's nothing posted about one opening in NC.
FYI...The Christmas Tree Shop will be in the old Linen's N Things located off Bridford Parkway and Wendover next to Kohls, Pier One and Target. I was over there last week and saw the sign in the window. I found the posts here because I wanted to make sure it was THE "Christmas Tree Shop". I'm so excited too!!!
I work part-time at the store in MD. It is such a cool place to work.
