I think that church must be doing something right. They now have 3 campuses and a 4th in the works. They have so many people who go there to worship. Many have been led to baptism including this fall when they baptised over 500 people on one day. Amazing things have come from this church and they help so many in the community. Giving shoes to a elementry school so all the kids would have them. So much...don't judge until you hear his word.

??? what church, there are many listed in this thread.

Helping the community and being a bible believing, bible preaching church are two very different things, 90%(or more) of churches contribute to the community. And since when did number of people in a church prove anything. The International House of Prayer is an extremely controversial church with a HUGE following, doesn't mean they are necessarily a good church.

Ah, seems like someone was there for the sermon. As far as "current issues", the bible states that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. The gospel message is as current and relevant today as it was 2000 years ago. When we are called to be separate and holy and in the world, but not of it; that is a literal commandment. If we are doing the exact same things that the world is doing what exactly makes us Christian?

How can a pastor tell someone that they need Jesus in their life and to turn away from their sins, when that pastor is bragging about listening to a rapper that uses the "n" word, refers to women "*******" and "ho's" and wrote an extremely violent song fantasizing about murdering his estranged wife. That's not being current, that's called compromise and God's word warns us about it all throughout his word. New Spring is too concerned about being hip and trendy and not concerned enough about being sold out for God. I attended for 3 and a half months, this is what I saw and heard.

I don't know. Only God knows who is saved and who isn't. Read my other post, in the thread that you started. It's pretty thorough.

Try the 9:00 service at Taylors First. The music and the sermon is great. The Holy Spirit can be felt in that place and souls are being saved. The blood of Jesus is preached. Dr. Page is in the middle of a series of sermons about the second coming of Christ. Man, I cannot wait until Sunday morning. Come just us!

Springwell is a Wonderful church to attend! I started attending Springwell about 7 months ago and feel just as welcome as the first day I attended. The pastor is very down to earth and humorous but delivers a wonderful message every Sunday. I've found everyone that attends, are very friendly and the music is Awesome! You can really feel the presence of the Holy Spirit!!! The church welcomes you as you are, so please be our guest!!! It is located off of Wade Hampton, near the Taylors Post Office.

My goodness. Are there no churches in Greenville that have real Christian leaders that are not afraid to speak out against the full frontal assault on Christians, our liberties, and our American heritage (including our Constitution) by the corrupt Marxist politicians in D.C.???

As our country marches toward socialism and tyranny, our religious leaders keep giving flowerly speeches that are designed to make people feel warm and fuzzy. Christianity is not about feeling warm and fuzzy - its about standing up for whats right. The Bible teaches us to fight evil whenever and where ever we find it. Where are the leaders that will stand up to this administration???

If the Rabis would have stood against the Nazi's in Germany in the 1930's, far fewer Jews would have been murdered. Has history not taught us any lessons???
