I want to check out the new Harris Teeter in Greer. I’m hearing nothing but positive comments about it.

I spoke to the store manager at Costco Greenville. I mentioned the possibility of another Costco coming to the upstate. His response: not anytime soon. I was hoping for a different reply, but it doesn’t sound like there’s another one coming anytime in the near future.

I was there yesterday, early afternoon (had a off day from work). Place was very busy. I mentioned to my daughter that this Costco is probably the busiest place in Greenville on a consistent basis.

We are pretty lucky to have two Costco's in the Upstate. I can see room for a third one day, maybe in the next decade.

I've noticed Costco now has (much needed) police presence on regular weekends outside of the Thanksgiving-Christmas timeframe.

I think they’re going to need a police presence at the gas station during peak hours as I’ve experienced a lot of rude behavior there recently.

That store is nice.

There are strong rumors of Harris Teeter developing and opening a store on Wade Hampton Boulevard in Taylors either at Reid School Road or Saint Mark Road.

Nice. Taylors/ Greer needs a higher end supermarket along Wade Hampton. Their choices are limited to Food Lion and Walmart along that stretch. I seem to remember plans for another big box shopping center to be developed at Saint Mark Road quite some time ago.
