Going to church this morning I was amazed to see the trash the 107.3 Jamz Family Reunion people left for someone else to clean up at Heritage Park. The litter and trash stretch from Parachem all the way to the Duke Power office.
I drive the route every day and after most concerts. Never have I see such a disregard for our area even after 3 days of Freedom Weekend Aloft. I am hoping they will find another venue next year.

Big surprise there. People are pigs. I would be calling the radio station and demanding they clean up their mess.

When you have 30k+ people in one area like that you are going to have trash. I agree that someone should clean it up though. The city made a nice chunk of cash with this. I'm sure it will get cleaned up.

BULL. Read my post. Never has this much trash been left on the roads. Not even after 3 days of FWA. Get the staff from JAMZ out on the road and let them pick it up.

It's Sunday dude; I'd be willing to bet it's almost all gone Monday.

It is litter. Litter is a scourge in our society. They should be fined for displaying such lack of character and total disrespect for public property. The Bonnaroo music festival never gets trashy because the organizers and attendees enforce themselves. They care for the environment and respect the property, taking full responsibility by putting trash where it should be. They also have recycling containers throughout the venue.

I'd contact the city of Simpsonville and especially the radio station. It doesn't matter if it's Christmas. Trash shouldn't be there to begin with. People need to have better respect for the area they live in. Litter trashes everyone...don't do it.

back to you dude
And how is this mess going to get gone. Are the trash faries coming out tonight and wave their little wands?
There are several private properties covered in trash. I am sure their folks are going to make the calls tomorrow morning when they roll in.
That was really just a stupid comment.

I told my brother that there would be complaints before this event even happened. Its ok at Lakeside, but folks don't want it at Heritage.
