A rumor had Trader Joe's there, but doesn't seem to be true.
The size for the projected grocery tenant at Stone and Main is small to lure a conventional supermarket like Ingle's, Publix and Walmart Neighborhood Market. Publix's smallest stores are approximately 29,000 square feet. Looking at other formats, a specialty/gourmet grocer could work here. If not Trader Joe's, The Fresh Market could be a good option.

I thought this was supposed to be a large grocer such as Publix or possibly Harris Teeter.

NorthPointe has its grocery tenant planned at 53,000 square feet. That size is common with new Harris Teeter stores. I do not see anything that big with Main and Stone.

I see. Apparently I was getting 2 different projects confused. Will be interesting to see what the NorthPointe grocer turns out to be.
