I drove by Cianciola's on College St. this morning and noticed it was open. Has anyone shopped there yet?

The old Geico office, next to Red Robin Gas Station on Woodruff road is being renovated for a beauty supply store. Sort of surprised they were able to lease that space to begin with, that is a very tired looking strip center.

Methodical Coffee in the BoA building downtown has opened. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet but am looking forward to doing so.

Buddy went there and said it was pretty decent. It's coffee afterall only Dunkin Donuts can screw it up easily.

Go to Due South Coffee Roasters in the old Taylors Mill if you want great coffee. The owner travels to the great coffee growers, and then picks and brings back the beans. He then roasts the beans at this location. "It's coffee after all?" Try this place and you will know in hurry that all coffee is not created equal. Plus, the atmosphere is unlike any place in our area, maybe in the south.

Yeah I know one of the owners at Due South and I remember when he first started getting into the bean import business. Pretty cool to see how things have grown for them!

I tried their pour over coffee when they first opened up. It was lukewarm and pretty bland. I'm not a coffee guru by any means and as long as it's hot and not bitter I'm all good (that and plenty of cream and sugar...)

I noticed today the old Fashion Shack store across from Frankies Fun Park in Park Woodruff is now a VGo Indian and Convenience Store Food Market. Is this some sort of outlet for them?

Daniel's Briar Patch should be open at 2722 Wade Hampton Blvd in the first week of April. It's the new home of DoBBieQ, with an expanded menu. I'll never say no to more pig in the upstate. Looks like they're going to have a full bar too.

I'm not sure what's taking the place of The Castle on LeGrand Blvd., but there's been a ton of work going on over there recently, including a Coca-Cola crew apparently setting some stuff up today. Presumably something's going to happen there very soon.

Default Daniel's Briar Patch, 2722 Wade Hampton Boulevard, Greenville, South Carolina 29615-1152

This location is notable for being Briar Patch, its now several incarnations, and a rotation of other businesses. I hope Daniel's Briar Patch finds success.
