Someone upthread mentioned Crab du Jour Cajun Seafood and Bar for that location. I'm not familiar with either, I just saw the signs today when I was over that way. Spartanburg has a place called Red Crab Juicy Seafood which opened earlier this year and was good when we tried it.

Good idea. Another seafood place when there is Saltwater Kitchen across the street and New England Seafood and Harbor Inn just around both corners. Going to have more seafood places than Myrtle Beach. LOL.

Anyone been to Greentop's Scratch Kitchen on N. Pleasantburg Drive? I am hearing good things. The parking lot is always full. https://www.greentopskitchen.com

Just went there when I saw the post about it as we're just up off West Butler.. Damn good.

We do a thing at work with hot food.. We grew Ghost Peppers in the garden and ate them, did the Paqui one chip challenge.. So our next idea was trying the hottest wings from each place and see who has the best.

We got the Smoked Carolina Reaper wings from Smokin Wings.. Amazing. Good heat, no chemical taste which is a real problem.. They're not the hottest things I've ever had, but they didn't sacrifice flavor for heat.. And that's the sign of someone who knows what the hell they're doing.

Any jackass can dump a bottle of capsacian extract in.. But it takes some talent to make a good tasting and very hot wing.

You want an example of a fail.. Quaker Steak and Lube's wings that they make you sign a waiver and bring out with a siren and all.. Nasty as hell. Completely sacrificed taste for heat.

Others.. Like Wild Wing.. Their hottest still has a decent taste.. No chemical taste at all, but it's a very strong black pepper taste which some people probably won't like. I enjoyed it..

We have been once. We liked it. Eclectic choices. Imagine lots of folks in the Cherrydale area appreciate something a little different.

Tried this last night for the first time. Great stuff! Work across the street in the Brookfield complex so know I’ll be hitting it often for lunch now.

And now there is Crab D Licious going into the building beside the old Raffertys on Congaree. Why the sudden boom for crab restaurants? The survival rate has to be low.
