Work had several problems mainly with the registers. They kept freezing up. They were still frozen at 9pm and I could not do anything so I had to leave it to the key holder I was working with. I cleaned, made sure the shelves were full and neat and clocked out. I don't like leaving my register not done but I couldn't do anything about the situation with it frozen so I just pray it was good! By the time I got home I was so wound up and it was still quite hot in my bedroom sleep was difficult. I am tired this morning with another evening to work so hopefully I will be able to get the house cool enough with fans to take a nap! If not I am sure I will survive!

My neighbor left for the summer yesterday and bequeathed me some perishables.....I converted the blueberries and eggs into fresh blueberry muffins this morning. Jumbo Buttermilk Blueberry muffins brimming with blueberries and glistening with a sugar crystal-cinnamon-nutmeg sprinkle on top! They are so good! I had to send her a DM to thank her while they were still en route to NY State. (She got the message)

I have church this morning and work this evening so it looks like I will be busy! Sure hope these temperatures go down a bit. Feel like I am melting!

I am up and cooking dog food.....part of my routine. This morning I am steaming chicken and carrots and celery.....this is to mix in to their regular dog food.....so they will eat it. When my older girl McKenzie was diagnosed with CA and started loosing weight and appetite....I started cooking for her....but the other two soon caught on that she was getting special meals and of course they want it too. I think it is healthy diet....mostly protein....with some brown rice and carrots and celery....and they others do get some kibble of Science diet canned food.
