OMG, I just heard they are going to ban all guns tomorrow! Quick go out and get one.

If a guy gets mugged in Seattle, I should be afraid to walk the streets of Texas. If one teacher does something bad to a kid, all teachers are a problem. If a kid shoots up a school in Colorado, all schools are unsafe. If police get killed in Dallas, police in Atlanta should be afraid? What hell is wrong with our society?

"The Only thing we have to fear, is fear itself." FDR (Greatest Democratic President Ever)

NO, DONT BUY IT! especially if your in Califiornia, they will definitely ban the ammunition

by Jan 2018 no more ammo purchases without a background check and permit, no more ordering by mail unless it goes through a FFL / dealer

the prices of ammo will go up, until it's no longer affordable or practical to buy it, the Gov is trying to make it difficult to get your ammo so people will give up or stop buying guns & ammo

The are also thinking of banning the sale of lead ammo, because of environmental concerns

they might even ban the possession, and your ammo stock pile will become useless

then after all the military rifles are banned they will ban all semi auto firearms

and require special firearms license to own a gun, and registration of All firearms

This all leads to total confiscation in the end, they want EVERYTHING!

Never happen. Especially with reloaders and millions of components. They can try but they will fail. Keep the fight!

If you have the tools you can make ammo from start to finish, boolits, brass cases from tubing. It's not that hard! Even powder is fairly easy to make.

The idiots who think there will never be a ban are either mentally ill enough to not remember or too young to remember the 94 crime bill. Mags went way up in price and some were hard to get for 10 years. You could not find a ruger 1022 hicap mag for under 80 bucks. Will the AR be banned? It depends on a congress and executive office getting elected with Dems. Bans don't come over night but I personally have watched several actions come in that made some guns spike in price. You now today have to pay tens of thousands of dollars to buy a full auto because of Ronald Reagan stopping any new guns from coming into it. Just as today it costs 200 for a tax stamp and your AR receiver can be made into a SBR you used to be able to make your AR into FullAuto. Now you have to buy from a closed pool and the price has been driven way up. Although not banned the price is out of the reach of many Americans.

The next thing is the Dems and antis are not static. They like some maniacal artificial intelligence are learning and probing for weakness. Feinstine has said she has learned a lot on how to ban guns the next time so they can not be by passed. Just look at the California laws. Never ever think it can not happen. Even if they can not get the votes a scare like SH can make guns and ammo very hard to get for years. 22LR is just now getting so you can buy it with out a lot of work.

Let's see. How does a ban work. They make it illegal to buy for a time. The old one was halted because crimes stats showed ARs didn't comprise most of the crime with guns. Everyone that already had one had to "register" it. One of the dumbest protocols ever. Millions didn't abide by the stupid law, heck most probably weren't even aware of it and simply went about their business. Gun ranges didn't care. Game Wardens didn't care. If you are out in the sticks they can't call it in or check a computer because there is no data signal. It's a complete waste of everyone's time.

The industry simply changed some names, tweaked some designs and carried on business as usual. Us smart ones have enough reloading equipment to last a lifetime.

We already have two work arounds for the stupidity just passed in CA. Which means I'll be hunting and shooting with my AR same as always. Bans are stupid and useless. Criminals don't care.

The runs on guns and ammo, in the long run it's a good thing as it's flooding the Country with weapons. People that didn't even want one buy one because they think it's a last chance now or never deal but as we've seen that always changes.

For years the % of gun owners has fallen but with these recent bans and shootings the politicians have that % rising dramatically.

There has been alot of fear talk about taking our guns. I doubt that kind of legislation would ever be successful no matter who controls the house, but they can make it hard to purchase ammo.

We as owners do need to ensure our property doesn't make it to the black market via theft.

Not without millions killed in the conflict. Will you be participating?
