Then continue to elevate it when you can, ice it and wrap it or wear an over-the-ankle boot/shoe to stabilize it. Sprains take a long time to totally resolve and can leave that ankle a bit more prone to further injuries. BTDT a lot...at least 4 on one ankle, 2 on the other. When I know I'll be doing something that could injure it again I wrap the worse one or choose more supportive boots.
