Sorry to say, I believe this is a huge problem in America...we're not as clean as we used to be....

actually, they don't clean public rest rooms and hospitals like they should any longer....

but was wondering, on the topic of cleanliness, do you wash your hands after visiting the restroom

and please share your stories on any of these subjects if you like

I think not washing hands and cleanliness or lack thereof has become a serious problem in America.

I'm a hand cleaning Nazi but only with regular soap.

Also not just confined to bathoom visitiation I wash before and after everymeal and whenever I get the chance throught the day.

If everyone handwashed regularly the incidents of infection and sickness would plummet even further than it has in the last 100 years.

Simple as that.

I'm also not a germaphobe, will shake everones hand and have been known to eat things off the ground. Meh just blow off the dust particles and pickout the hair. Good as new.

yes, I'm not a germa phobe either, or at least I don't think so, but also clean with bleach or lysol with peroxide....and even put vinegar in every load of my wash....

I wash my hands after touching money as well.....

but I agree, we'd save a lot of doctor bills if only we'd be more meticulous about washing our hands.

And I cannot believe so many men do not do so? ewwwwww

I find the doors on restrooms a problem, you still need to touch them to get out, and not everyone washes.

Yes, I agree. That is why I always use hand sanitizer.

Not usually. I'm healthy as an Ox, and as big as one too.

I always grab a paper towel if available. Fortunately at work we have doors that you can push open with your shoulder.

I hold onto the paper towel I use to dry my hands and open the door with it.

I like the doors that have the "safe escape" things at the bottom, where you hook your foot on it and open the door that way.

My mom is a germ-phobic neat freak. I am not one, but that is debatable.
