I just bought new dishes from BB&B, yikes.....when I got home, they are the same brand that I had before that all chipped, but in a different color.
I guess my eye went to the same type of pattern, or no pattern.
ok, lets see how long this set takes before they chip.

Pretty.
Going off on a tangent here. Your backsplash looks like my ceiling.
I chose Provencal by Royal Doulton (now discontinued) in 1974. I have used it every day since, and I’ve never had any other. Knocking on wood - I’ve only had one chip, and that was done by my sister in law. (I now take care of all the dishes at family dinners at my house. The others can do the pots and pans).
I still as fond of my china today as I was 45 years ago, so I’m not interesting in changing. But if I had to, it would either be Portmeirion Botanic Garden or some sort of Corelle.

Cat
LOL, it probably is!!
It's really plastic, and I got it at Lowe's.
One thing about it, it never shows any dirt, grease, fingerprints or anything, and that works perfectly for me!!!!!

Try to look at it as an opportunity to pick out something new again in a few years?

you know what, thats a good thought, because the dishes werent that expensive, and who wants to look at the same dishes for decades, yes, this was a good point you brought up.

I've loved these dishes for years and I like that the plates have different flowers. When I started buying Polish pottery a few years back, I decided I wanted the plates to be different, but I went a little overboard and didn't keep some in the same color family. Trying to correct that now, but I still like the variety.
Okey Dokie, I love that pattern!
