10. We look out over a multi layer mountain view. So much better from the house we just sold where we were looking at our neighbors' back deck from our bedroom window.

At least a 10 here. Between the window on one wall, and the sliding glass door both facing the water, we have a view of our canal and down its short length to the estuarial river. Across the canal are wetlands and mangroves, with quite a variety of flora and fauna,,as well as the river beyond those mangroves.

I'd say a solid 8 heading toward 10 status in the future. Our bedroom windows look out into our backyard and we have a big pool, a very tall redwood fence and a bunch of trees/greenery but we are also under construction, too. The hubs is busy making the house look pretty on the outside and I'm busy making it look pretty on the inside, LOL.

Neutral 5. About the only reason I ever look out the bedroom window is to look at the moon and stars or to see what the weather is like. Love my two 90 inch windows in the living room though. It looks over my neighbor's yard which is groomed and beautiful and looks like a park.

7. In a subdivision, but we have hundreds of feet between houses. If we had waterfront/waterview, then I'd rate it higher.

I have 2 windows in my bedroom. We are on the 4th floor.

There are low houses across the street and an apartment building directly behind them, so my view is un-obstructed, but is it nice?

Not really.

The front of the houses are nice, but the back of the apartment building is just that, a back of a building...

I can however see over the apartment buildings to infinity of sky, I have witnessed many beautiful rainbows from these windows over the years.

I give it a 4, but it is bright and airy.

Default 5, Neutral.

More importantly, nobody has a good view in the bedroom window, and no direct sunlight before 10AM.

I overlook an expressway.

So, that would be a...... Zero.

Shades are drawn at all times.

I win!

I had forgotten this but my last house didn't have a view really, just backyard with a tree. But in the winter with no leaves on tree I had a nightlight of the huge red Texaco sign on the main road-blocks away but bright.
Now I have trees and rooflines of the townhouses on next cul de sac. Not bad a 4 maybe.
