I give mine a 3 or 4. I live in the city and look out over my neighbors yard, which isn't always kept up (no HOA here.) I do see some trees and greenery in the distance which is why I give it a 3. Envious of those who have great views!
about 80' to the slum-lord trash rental and the trashy renters, their lot is 6' above mine so a privacy fence does Nothing plus they just came onto my property and cut down a 70' swath of natural screen (court is immanent). I also have a service station who's lot level starts about 10' above mine, thankfully they close at midnight and kill their lights then.
We don't live here for the views, obviously. I can't say that ANY house I've lived in, ever, has had better than a "meh" view.
