Also the dues won't have to be raised. Once the HOA is formed there will be a budget and they can decide to allocate so much money to better the community. The last place I lived used money to put in a slide, improve the pool and get a cover for the playground. Without raising dues.

Are all the homes supposed to be paying the same yearly dues of $600?

If so that is over 500 homes (when completed). That's some cash.

$600 yearly for 500 homes is actually not a lot at all. You'll be surprise at how much it cost just to maintain a neighborhood. Landscaping, pool, fences eat up a lot of cost.

Oh I know what it takes.

I have just always had issues with HOA's. It's a long story.

Not griping about the money as my last HOA was $2k yearly.

The red light is working now. So much easier getting out of the neighborhood.

What does everyone do for cable/satellite?

We have Directv now, but hubby is looking at I believe Consolidated. Thoughts on going the able route? We will have two TVs with boxes.

Default Inspection

TM requires inspectors to have $1,000,000 in general liability coverage. Does anyone have someone they can recommend?

Also, were they pretty good about making any repairs noted on the report?
