Very interesting, but I have never thought Midtown would be very Orange County-like. However, I think you tend to find fitter , tanner dudes and girls in the pools in OC (than those in this picture).
That pic is literally an 8 to 1 wiener ratio. Seriously, we had a better ratio in college @ keg parties we complained were sausagefests... wound up leaving those crappy parties after 30 minutes to find something else. That pic is horrible advertising for straight guys.

Who says they are straight? LOL. Also, if it were a party you would think the male to female ratio would be better. Nobody would invite that many dudes. Even a girl would make sure to invite all her female friends. So maybe it was a random event thrown by the apt complex. After all it looks like it was the complex that took the pic.

ROTFLMAO! I couldn't help but notice that too.

I kind of disregard mentions of living in the Loop as diverse for 20 somethings. Most of my friends and the people I know who do live down there in an area that's suppose to be hopping with 20 somethings and recent grads looks like an A&M reunion and 89% are of the Caucasian variety. Nothing wrong with that but can we get 20 of everyone.

Those people seem out of shape, in general, and overly male in their numbers. I'd imagine that is what it's like living in Midtown.

I don't know how many of you are familiar with the famous Riverbend Apts of Atlanta that peaked in the 1970's, but I'm wondering if this is what it's sort of like in the loop at some of these apt complexes or am I way off? I mean logic would tell you that inside the loop would seem to attract a younger and more attractive crowd and with the weather and the pools, well you get the idea.

I highly doubt it. I always think life in Houston is kinda boring, you go to work and come back home locking your door? I don't think Houstonian is very sexually-charged in general. Well compared to Californians or New Yorkers or those Jersey Shore residents.

I've mentioned this about the inner loop-- the places people actually want to live anyway-- and get called a troll. It's very white here, almost 100%. It seems most people don't like talking about it.

I lived off of Washington (not quite Midtown but similar vibe) for 2 years and that's EXACTLY what it's like - especially in Spring and Summer. It's freaking fantastic if you're in to the sort of thing. Even if you're not, there are tons of parks nearby and plenty of other stuff to do for 20-somethings.

SHORT ANSWER:
This is your typical, Midtown 3-day weekend.

So you are saying there are a lot of hot women at these things?
