I know this campus so well. After almost 20 years, the campus seemed to remain the same.

Next to the library, near the shooting incident today, the counselors' office were by it. There used to place tables at the hallway, in front of it. I used to study and have lunch there daily at one of these table. That area was only a few feet away from where this incident happened. It gave me goosebumps just thinking about it. It was sure hard to watch what was happening over the live coverage.

Lone Star used to be NHCC, North Harris County College. Then, NHCCC and now Lone Star. Those of us that attended there before its name changed to Lone Star have always called it NHCC. I think this is where the confusion come from between the 2 colleges of NHCC & HCC.

At the beginning of the live coverage, even reporters from a few stations referred it to NHCC and later corrected to its current name, Lone Star.

If everybody is supposed to have a gun to defend themselves
why is it that people freak out when somebody uses their constitutional right to defend themselves?

so time to ban guns now too I'd say since handguns actually kill more people overall than semi-automatic... nah, that won't happen now....they'll get rid of the semi's first....then we'll see more gun shootings, and within a decade they'll ban handguns as well.... then we'll have to show our papers when we go from one place to another, just like Nazi Germany...

Sorry, but this is funny. What an idiot...

Lone Star College gunman accidently shoots himself in the butt before giving up - CultureMap Houston

I'll pass on the MSNBC, thanks.
It's a fight between two people, not a "school shooting".

I saw the suspects picture, and it doesn't surprise me that he didn't want to fight and pulled out a gun instead. He looked like a little cowardly wimp.

Yes, we all know you are right. However, the news media gets highly sexually aroused whenever there is a school shooting.

Nice we agree,
that means that 99% of Americans are "criminals" and 99% of gun owners are "criminals", too
