I know this is the worst kept secret but the developers of the Shop at Cinco Ranch West has the HEB on their marketing flyers. Same location where everyone else is saying it is going to be.

Hello HEB! We are excited that you will be part of our community. Friday Read King Developers attended our Planning and Zoning Commission meeting to report on the 100,000 sq ft store surrounded by approximately 200,000 sq ft of retail, at the corner of FM1463 and Fulshear Bend (Cinco Ranch Blvd), N.W. Corner. Plans are to open early 2016. We are happy we can now "let the cat out of the bag"

Anyone know the reason for the delay for this project? It seems like most of the announced projects along 1463 in the last few years have been delayed. I think it's due to the need for road widening. I can't find anything specific to back up my hypothesis though.

We need another Randalls in the Cinco Ranch West/SW area! The Mason Rd location is a little far when I can choose from 3 Krogers and (soon) 3 H-E-Bs in the same area. I was hoping the FM 1093 Kroger was going to be the site of Randalls instead. I was bummed that it would be another Kroger.

This is purely a guess, but the downturn in the oil industry might have something to do with it.
There was just an article somewhere the other day putting Cross Creek Ranch at the number 2 spot for local communities hit the hardest as far as home sales are concerned, which is a complete 180 from just a year or two ago.
