Yes, Al Stewart did some awesome music back in the day and believe it or not whwen I was a teen I could so relate!! Then again, I've often been called an "old soul".

Good call on your part I can't remember if you got the YouTube with the female singing back up or not? It ended up on my wall, which is fine, but I can't remember if you ever got to hear that version or not I didn't like it as well at first but I do like it a lot more hearing it a couple more times.
That CD also has "Song on the Radio" I decided to post that here with the same female singing back-ups. I would have arranged it differently but see what you think. All rights belong to Al Stewart, producer Alan Parsons, and all the suits at Arista, publishing management etc.
And thanks to PW for recent "Songs on the Radio"even if they aren't his favorites. It's nice to hear music that meant enough to us earlier , regardless of the reason(s) , we still remember now.
How many AM talk-stations in IF?
Do you get all the good shows?
Limbaugh, Levin, Beck, Ingraham, Ramsey, Hannity, Crowley, Doyle?
(Notice I left out Savage? I can't stand him)
Also, at night can you pick up KSL and/or KOA?
Can't get either worth a darn in Boise.

Ask pw72 or send him a DM if he doesn't respond. He's the radio master here.

Why would you want KSL? Of course you're not going to get that in Boise. There are several options in Boise for AM talk radio such as KBOI.

I like KSL, especially the "Nightside Project" or whatever it's called,
and their early morning news with Grant and Amanda.
I used to get KSL loud and clear up in NW Montana, but not over here.
KBOI is good for two shows...period. Limbaugh and Levin.
I don't like Chris Walton, don't like Savage, don't like Shelman,
don't like John Bachelor, don't like "Red Eye Radio".
I do like Paul J. Schneider, but since he's on with Walton, I don't listen.
KIDO is way better than KBOI, but at night all
you've got is George Noory, and he gets old fast.
KOA out of Denver used to be awesome when they
had guys like Gunny Bob and the late Rick Barber.
I think they've pretty much gone mainstream now,
but not sure since I can't listen in at night from Boise.
Great to see some AM fans here. It really is a dying medium, but still exists, and count me in as one who scans the AM dial whenever I am on the road. Yes, a lot of shows are the same from market to market, but occasionally you come across something that isn't heard in your particular home market. I particularly like "Handel On The Law", which can be heard weekends on 670 KBOI and Sundays on KVNU Logan at 610. Handels dry wit is hilarious!
For fans of music not heard on the radio much, you can always catch some classic country or deep classic (50's/60's) pop/middle of the road/Beautiful music, however you label it. Though sometimes hard to catch. Eat it up radio fans, I think we are at the end of this AM cycle.
As to an above post about Wells Fargo and Dump Hunger, the Wells Fargo in question is located inside Smiths. Another major sponsor was Albertsons. No excuse, no explanation, but just a fact check for those who care.
Wow, Arrow 107.1 has really changed. They now seem to be playing hits from the 70's and 80's, as opposed to obscure classic rock. I like it!
Nice to hear Time Passages and Against all Odds today pw72 TY
