we could go back and forth mooty, but even the most irrational person would agree that coultier does not vote on policy. perhaps she does in fantasyland, but I live in reality.

And as I already said, that doesn't excuse Coulter's behavior and that of those who repeat or otherwise parallel her rhetoric.

Well -- at least that liberal admits that the illegals are not positively contributing to the economy and are in fact need taxpayer funded free health care.

The only question is exactly why does she think we need to bring in millions of uninsured people who can't afford to pay their own way on anything.

Because CA promised healthcare to their illegals.
Only now they don't want to tax their own residents because they are finding out it will be a huge financial burden.
Boxer just wants to move this burden to the Fed level and let all of us pay for what CA promised the illegals.
The amnesty bill says they will not get subsidized healthcare.

If it says in CA then more illegals will flock there once amnesty is granted because CA has the best benefits in the country for them.

This chaos at the border needs to cease. We need to get rid of politicians who want an amnesty to make the problem go away.

The problem is the politicians.

Look at what Eisenhower did with Operation We$back..

Please give some examples of the callous disregard you speak of.

Boxer is a greedy idiot. Who cares if California "promised" free health care to criminals? That is California's problem. I don't want my tax money spent rewarding people for committing criminal acts. What's next? Gift certificates for shoplifters? Free spa days for rapists? The stupidity of CA legislators takes bad decisions to an entirely new level.

Precisely. The idiots that voted that fool into office should foot the bill.

Privatize profits and socialize debts.
The government is only doing what big business does.

Yes -- and the Californians who want their dirt cheap servants and cheap workers don't want to have to pay the true costs of them.

Why not modify this proposed amnesty and insist that only those illegals who find legal employer sponsors who will provide them a health insurance plan for at least the next 10 or 15 years (paid in advance) be eligible for this amnesty?

Why on earth would we even consider adding more uninsured people at this time?

Another group that should not get amnesty would be all the illegals over 40 who cannot possibly work enough years to pay in enough social security tax before they retire. Many illegals are pushing 60 and have no retirement savings in this country, there is no way in hell that we need them given legal status so they can start collecting disability checks for the next 30 to 40 years and be given tons of free health care as they age.
