We have reportedly 47,000 illegal minors and 400 a day are being caught and processed.
And guess what..they will be enrolled in our overcrowded schools in 2-3 months.
And they are either ELL or Spanish speaking only.
I imagine lots of portables and hirings by school districts as the summer months go on.
Those huge numbers cannot be absorbed by school systems.
Yes, and our American citizen children will suffer for it. The only other choice will be that their parents will have to pay for private schooling. It's not fair to the American public and certainly not fair to those who are going through legal channels for immigrating.
This situation is sickening, and I am tired of the media trying to portray this as a humanitarian issue with the children as innocent victims. Sick of them forcing pictures of hundreds of illegal aliens down our throats to try and make us feel responsible for them. I doubt many of these kids are orphans. Let the parents take care of their own children.

Watched news last night and the news said children said I their country they were saying on news that if they got to USA then report to immigration because they would be taken care of and allowed to stay. that is what Obama's policy has created.

On so-called abuse by border people, I say - "so what?" Yes, they do cavity searches for a reason. Too bad. Sorry to say I have no sympathy whatsoever for these kids - many of whom look to me come from very primitive and not particularly high-evolved stock. Liars, sneaks, thieves - yes, indeed, people who have nothing will do ANYTHING to survive - false accusation is the least of it.
