No surprise. California's more concerned for the welfare of illegal aliens than US citizens.

Besides, this law passed a while back. Nothing new.

The upside is the State will be able to track these people assuming they use a legit address. I suppose most of them are concentrated in the El A metro area.

Do you really think any of them will be tracked?

As long as they pay taxes I'm good with anything. Or, if everyone can start paying me in cash like they get then I'm good there as well. lol

I'm really not seeing the logic behind giving illegal aliens legal driver's licenses. They're already driving anyway and they're not even supposed to be here.

Sure. Because California only gives licenses to illegals and not to its citizens.

Any more examples of what illegals get that citizens can't?

If you really care to understand why, there's a great deal of information on the subject available on the web. You might be particularly interested in the support positions from various police chiefs' associations across the nation:

Did I say that illegals get things citizens can't? I said they're more concerned with the welfare of illegals more than the citizens.

How about allowing illegal aliens to pay in state tuition at colleges? Did they stop to think that the influx of students would cause classes to fill up so citizens can't get the classes they need?

How about not enforcing laws to impound vehicles when someone's caught without a license? The dopey LAPD chief won't enforce the law as it would cause hardship to the poor illegals that drive around without a license or insurance. Never mind the impact it has on citizens when they cause accidents.

How about the illegals flooding hospital ERs for colds and simple illnesses without paying until the hospitals have to close or can't provide the care they used to. Think that impacts the citizens?
