All I know is that Good Ol Joe won't cooperate with the Feds...and usually when people refuse to cooperate they have something to hide. Joe is on his way out
Has the Dept of Justice told him what it is they are looking for? Somehow, it seems to me that law enforcement agencies aren't supposed to conduct fishing expeditions when trying to find something on someone. This sounds to me like a fishing expedition based on the words of some, probably illegal alien, trying to get Old Joe.
Have you not heard that one of those who made noise about his treatment at Gitmo and was released in 2007 is now the commander of Taliban troops in Afghanistan? It seems to me that that man should still be at Gitmo for maybe another 20 years or so. Inmates rarely really tell the truth and surely those who have been released don't necessarily tell the truth.
Perhaps if said criminals acted like humans instead of animals it would be a bit more appropriate to treat them as humans. After all it was they who decided that laws are for the sheep and the weak not for them. I say humiliate them for that is exactly what criminals deserve.
No sir no tears from for the plight of the criminal. More power to Joe and I wish that every prison in this country would follow his example.
So...a continuation of the very kind of life that started them on the pathway? Intelligent.

If I was wrongfully imprisoned, and later released, I'd spend the rest of my life exacting my revenge on the system that imprisoned me in the first place.

Given the volume of repeat offenders I would hazard to guess that the give them a good life approach is a failure.
Do convicts need HBO? An olympic weight set? Cable TV?
No they need to be punished. Chain gangs work for me.
Well said Tinman. If I could rep you again I would. I have to spread the love. Tkramar, why should we give criminals more than most people in America have for free? They broke the law. They need to be rehabilitated not coddled. I agree with the chain gangs. As well as making them earn their food/board by working in fields etc.

If they were actually treated with some respect--which has yet to happen--we'd see if anything changed.

As you stated.
And; here in Arizona, the chain gang is a 'plum assignment' for our inmates, believe it or not.

Then the 'system' will destroy you------------permanently.
Assuming that you did not go through legal channels for redress.
^Not without me exacting some measure of revenge upon them.
"Oops, sorry." is insufficient.
