They will be citizens of their parent's homeland. They don't need a pathway for that. If the 14th is ever interpreted the way it should be it won't be retroactive anyway. It will only apply to anyone born after that.
A stateless society that will apply to every birth there after. Any time any one does anything, state or fed related, they would have to (show their papers) prove residency in order to get it done.
While I believe everyone should be able to take their tax dollars and leave, I don't think the government will get on board with that, since the IRS today requires 'all citizens of the u.s' to pay their taxes, no matter what country they take up residency.

I agree that there are too many people coming here to have an anchor baby. We have Indian friends that have been here for ten years and are on the path way to citizenship. It takes years to become a citizen. They had a child born here 6 years ago. Does that make her any less American than anyone else born here because her parents weren't born here? I say no. She is American in every sense. The problem comes with people coming here specifically to give birth. That needs to end. It's not just brown people. Read about the Russian's and birth tourism flocking to Miami. The Chinese love California. You'll never hear anything about that coming from the Trump administration. He needs his political boogeyman to keep the base riled. It ALL needs to end.

You don't understand what an "anchor baby" is. It's a baby born to an illegal alien or a woman who comes here as a tourist just to give birth to her baby.

Also, contrary to what is being claimed Trump has addressed ending birth tourism and rightly so. Someone coming here on a visa to visit should not be able to claim their newborn as a birthright citizen. They aren't legal immigrants residing here permanently even though they came here legally.

A child living with their parents from birth won't learn the native language of their parents? How do they communicate then? They may learn English when they go to schools but they would still know their native language.
According to the PC interpretation of the 14th Amendment a child born from illegal alien parents is not considered to be an illegal alien. Actually, if they have at least one citizen parent they would be birthright citizens. You're really not understanding this issue.
Most countries don't recognize babies born from illegal aliens as birthright citizens or they at least require that one parent be a citizen. How do they handle it? It doesn't seem to be a problem in those countries.
