There Will Be Blood Oliver Hagley
August 10, 2008 - Please understand that I do not advocate violence or shedding of blood n the United States, nor do I wish for that sort of disaster to strike our republic. Our history is that of a nation which operates in the accordance with the rule of law; we have always settled our domestic differences through the ballot box, rather than with bullets.

For 232 years that approach has worked fairly well. I hope that it works for another 232 years.
However, in recent years, elected officials have decided that once they have secured power, the need to listen to the will of the people is no longer urgent. This arrogant, nonchalant disregard for American citizens is hardly more obvious than when it comes to the issue of illegal aliens. Because elected officials from both major parties have refused to enforce US borders and immigration laws, perhaps as many as 40 million illiterate, non-English speaking peasants have invaded our land.

This invasion wreaks havoc on homeland security, the economy, education, and American language and culture.

The American people have repeatedly informed our leaders that we want an immediate end to and reversal of illegal immigration. We want the federal government to secure the borders and deport the illegal aliens from our midst, as soon as possible.

Despite the wishes of we the people, both presidential candidates from the major parties favor amnesty for invading criminals.

We are not going to put up with any terrorism in this country from conservatives, facist and reactionaries. We need to start a program before the elections to monitor these people and their organizations and to put them in jail at the first sign of trouble. In America you are entitled to your opinion, your prejudices and your view. You are not entitled to threaten and terrorize others or interfere in our lives. And it should not be tolerated.
Many of us support amnesty for the immigrants that are here, have establised roots (many have children that were born here and are citizens), work, pay taxes and obey the laws (which is more than alot of US citizens bother to do). These people deserve a place at the American table. But I do agree with the other side in one thing- the country MUST be secured as part of a FINAL and LAST amnesty. No more people sneaking in. And from here on out anybody caught aiding them, hiring them, housing them should be JAILED without question.

Right off the bat, you lost credibility with your deliberate blurring of the lines by calling illegal aliens "immigrants". For the record, in accordance with the content and true purpose of the 14th amendment (originated to include the descendants of slaves automatic citizenship), 2 illegal aliens are not capable of producing an American citizen. No ILLEGAL ALIEN is under the jurisdiction of the the US.

First of all those who are in this country ILLEGALLY ARE NOT "IMMIGRANTS". They are illegal aliens and therefore not entitled to anything other than a speedy deportation.

Second, the author of this article clearly states from the onset that he/she does not advocate violence. That being said, those in this country illegally were never invited by taxpaying Americans who have been forced to bare the burden of this invasion. If illegals are paying taxes that means they have either stolen an American's identity or purchased fake ID, both of which are felonies punishable by US law.

We the American citizens/taxpayers are sick of them and all of the financially and emotionally draining baggage they bring with them.

Your statement is very conflicted. You support the illegal alien invasion on one hand, but out of the other side of your mouth you want no more sneaking in? Is that because you want amnesty for your friends and family members first and then everyone else thereafter doesn't matter?

At the end of the day whether you snuck in 10 years ago, or plan on sneaking in tomorrow, you are all criminals and subject to prosecution and deportation as a result of your personal choice to commit the crime of illegal entry. We want all of you out yesterday. While I am not condoning violence, our nation is under attack, our patience has been exhausted and the frustration is mounting.

By any means necessary, we will do what our government refuses to do to protect our country and end this invasion.

To underscore JDubsMom's post regarding the Fourteenth Amendment and birthright citizenship:

If you research birthright citizenship, you will find that some scholars assert that the 14th Amendment requires that we grant citizenship to anyone born in the U.S. Other legal scholars disagree, arguing that the children of illegal aliens, like the children born to foreign diplomats stationed here, are not "subject to the jurisdiction" of the United States as required by the 14th Amendment.

One of the Fourteenth Amendment's key authors, Michigan Senator Jacob Howard explained in 1866 that the citizenship clause, intended to ensure the rights of former slaves and their children, "would not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are the children of foreigners, aliens, or who belong to families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the Government of the United States..."

Senator Jacobs made his intentions for this Amendment perfectly clear. This Amendment was never intended to write a blank check to the children of people in this country illegally. How could anyone in 1866 could have forseen the situation that we are in today with regards to illegal foreign nationals and their illegal anchor babies? I'm sure that he assumed that the Amendment would be executed with a modicum of common sense.

The United States of America is the ONLY industrialized nation in the world which hands out birthright citizenship like Halloween candy. In every other civilized country in the world, one must have one citizen parent in order to receive citizenship in that country.

The Fourteen Amendment has been used and abused in a manner never intended by the original framers. In order to know this though, you would have to research the history and reasoning behind the Fourteenth Amendment, which most people who advocate the wholesale give away of American birthright citizenship, seem reluctant to do.

I don't know how many times this particular topic has to be hashed over before those who support the idea of handing out American citizenship to any and all who ask for it understand the original intent of the Fourteenth Amendment. This amendment has now, nearly 150 years since its inception, outlived its usefulness. It should either be clarified by original intent or removed from the Constitution.

Bravo Kele. Unfortunately, this deliberate travesty of justice will continue to manifest itself.

It is because people that have established lives here and stayed out of trouble and off the public dole should not uprooted and kicked out of the country. Some of these people came here as children and they know no other life. They deserve a chance to stay. But like I said, any amnesty must ensure that no more come. And all my relatives are legally here. Most of them were even born here.

Quote:
That will be a genuine tragedy, because millions of patriotic Americans simply will not lie down and die while America is
methodically destroyed by politicians looking for cheap labor or cheap votes.
America fought a great and tragic civil war to end slavery. The nation appears to be on the verge of another civil war, this
time to free the American people from the bondage of illegal aliens.
When amnesty becomes law, it is almost certain that there will be blood.
Sad, but true.

I posted the correct link for your article Jdubs.

Btw, are the so called law abiding patriots going to take to the streets and murder people? What happened to their love for the rule of law? What a joke!

We are not the only ones. Canada and other countries have the same policy even if the baby is born on an airplane flying over the airspace and never actually puts a foot in the country. This is something we might look into making some modifications on in the future but getting an Amendment is very difficult. But I do agree that a baby born here should have to have at least one parent with a legal authorized presence in the country to gain US citizenship- even if the parent is on a tourist or student visa.

Either civil war or reorganization after nuclear attack will address this issue. Not until then. The sheeple trust their government too much.
