actually they will get more services: (see article)
Illegals now get free emergency-room treatment for life-threatening conditions, as any other American who's entered an ER in an area with lots of illegals recently well knows. (Three-quarters of the illegal-immigrant population is concentrated in five states: California, New York, Florida, Texas and Illinois.)
But now they'd be eligible for the entire range of medical services, all free of charge. That would trigger severe rationing: bureaucrats deciding who gets to see an oncologist, who can have an MRI - and even who can have bypass surgery and who'd die for lack of it.
These decisions would be made not on the basis of legal status but on the brutal facts of triage: Treat the 37-year-old illegal with his whole life to live before you spend scarce resources on an overweight, diabetic, 80-year-old citizen with high blood pressure who smokes.
yes technically a citizen could go to ER and get service w/o insurance but he would be charged and the debt would be pursued. just like the law it applies to everyone but much harder to apply to illegals (invisible people).
the issue of medical rationing if further demands are made on the system is a valid concern england has also experienced rationing bek of socialized medicine. HMO has caused healthcare rationing here to an extent. but that was not the thrust of this post. universal health was asserted as a freebee for illegals not so.

it is a freebie if you cannot collect on the debt owed, which is a much more likely scenario with illegal immigrants.
Oh, the desperation! It seems every hour there is a post about how Obama is going destroy your life. Here is where John McCain stands on illegal immigration.

The"Illegal Immigrant distribution" is spread from coast to coast, and border to border. It has over populated many more states than the 5 mentioned above. I can give you atleast 3 more, Georgia, W Virginia and N Carolina. There are many more, but some people are just too blind, stupid or dependent on them to notice to reality.

On a flip note, I have decided not to vote. If Obama becomes President, the democrats will not be brazen enough to ram an amnesty in a unilateral way. There will be alot of scrutiny on Obama and the current economic dilemma will only intensify this. I just hope Obama doesn't cease all interior enforcement measures that have been appearing somewhat fruitful. He will however, restore funding to family planning programs that will again increase the further lowering of the overall fertility rate in third world countries. Something Bush disbanded in his first week in office. McCains arrogance has no equal, he and the democratic congress will push through an amnesty claiming all the bipartisan support of the plan justified it. Obama seems to support Veterans which I think is very important as well. (being a vet of course exhibits my own bias on the issue). One term for Obama so that the wealthy neocon globalist and rabid capitalists will have a little harder of a time routing the middle class of this country. After we have had that much needed relief, I pray for a true paleo conservative to come in and finish this immigration debocle with a voraciousness spirit we need to get it done. In the mean time while Obama is

President we need to get the birthright citizenship up to a ballot and on to the supreme court to be straightened out.
This should be our main focus if Obama becomes president....
Does ANYONE out there honestly believe that illegal ( specificallly MEXICAN) "immigrants" are not already getting free health care. Good greif! I see it first hand every time I have to take my son to the clinic or the public health nurse. We are always behind a throng of either illegalls ( we know they are because they can't or won't produce ID) or temporary field workers. They are not required to pay for the services. Oh...we are though! Whether a co pay or a flat fee not covered by our insurance. Plus they DEMAND that there be someone available to them to interpret. Even if they speak english or have a freind or family member with them who can do this. It frosts me no end! This needs to stop and anyone who thinks this is OK needs their head examined. I'm sick of footing the bill for these people. And I blame the industries that inundate us with them for the "cheap " labor and the mentallity of modern America that the work these people do is "Beneath them". Wake UP America...There is work out there. Enough to go around and we are giving it away and watching working CITIZENS tax money get spent to fund lazyness and a sense of entitlement to easy jobs!

MEXICO CITY -- Like many old-style Mexican matriarchs, Emma Castro Amador bore so many children that she cannot keep their birthdays straight. Sometimes she even loses track of whether Oscar, her 10th, came before David, her 11th. "But I never regret having so many," says Castro, who is 59 and bore 14 children in 25 years. "I know the government tells everybody to have fewer now, but I think it's none of their business."
Government policy encouraged rapid growth, partly for historical reasons. Mexicans thought the 19th-century seizure of Mexican territories stretching from Texas to California by the United States would have been impossible had they not been so sparsely populated. But in the late 1960s, as Mexico's postwar economic boom began to slow, the population figures began to alarm experts. In 1970, Mexico's population hit 48 million, and in an influential study, several prominent Mexican demographers warned that unless policies changed, it would more than triple by 2000, to 148 million. Faced with the challenge to national stability those projections implied, President Luis Echeverria Alvarez in 1974 reversed course, establishing a National Population Council to control population growth and a network of government clinics to help couples plan their families.

As you stated:
The birthrate was 7.3 children per woman in Mexico back in 1962.............today, it is under 2.4 kids-----------replacement level is 2.1 children per woman. The birthrate SOB of has flat plummeted in well under 50 years.

In what country is it 2.4? My son's best friends' family are Americans of mexican descent and they have 5 kids. To be honest with you, when I am downtown Chicago, I have yet to see one that isn't pregnant and pushing a stroller with one or two more holding on to each other.
I often wonder in what part of the US are all of the illegal aliens who manage to stand upright long enough to do the jobs they claim Americans won't do.
