I was just at the store and overheard two guys in spanish say the "reconquista" the reconquering is working and it won't be long. Did anyone ever hear of this ? My spanish is rough but it is where I can understand what is said. Is this something I'm missing ? I would like to know if anyone has heard of this.
According to Wikipedia, "the term has been adopted by immigration reform groups to characterize the deliberate effort to retake the American Southwest by Mexicans."
You know, I went on the Tennessee Gang Task Force website awhile back, and those cops seem to think that Mexico will declare war with us and we would be at a distinct disadvantage because so many of their citizens are here.
I was really stunned by that.
Apparently these cops deal with Spanish gangs and feel that we are going to be taken over.

It would be easy for them. Its the oldest war tactic infiltration. Remember the trojan horse. Well we can't do anything about it cause we might hurt someones feelings.
so where ya gonna go?? And when it does happen, we have no one to blame but ourselves because we let it. Unfort., no one wanted to listen when alarms were sounded. Alarm sounders were labeled. Last ditch attempt is to write, call, e-mail your elected officials and voice concern. Also, there are many groups you can Google and look to for advice.
