The Justice Department has launched a civil rights investigation into Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his office's controversial immigration sweeps.
The investigation “will focus on alleged patterns or practices of discriminatory police practices and unconstitutional searches and seizures conducted by the MCSO,” the Justice Department wrote in letter to Arpaio dated Tuesday.
Non-story, anyone can be "investigated". This will blow over like the last "investigations".
really? Remember who we have in office and remember that Napolitano is in charge and the two are not exactly on good terms. Add the fact that Holder will not be intimidated by Joe...

In February, four key Democratic members of the House Judiciary Committee asked Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and Attorney General Eric Holder to investigate possible civil-rights violations based on complaints that Arpaio's deputies are targeting residents based on their skin color during neighborhood crime sweeps and raids at work sites.
Do I see a shiny new Mall Security badge in Joe's future? I hope so!
Nah...he is set. He triple dips...draws two pensions and gets paid for being Sheriff.
Add that he owns a lot of property around Phoenix. Of course his finances are not public and he has never answered how he owns property that values in the millions.
He is as crooked as they come...The investigation is great news!!
