My source is just the U.S. Government—the U.S. Energy Information Administration: Electrified vehicles continue to see slow growth and less use than conventional vehicles

I don't have an issue with an EV tax but my understanding is that they are increasing the gas tax as well?

interesting...not sure where they glean their demographic data from, but it doesnt really matter..plus, not sure how honest ANYONE is when filling out a survey, especially if the US governement is asking the questions.
Just so you know, you and I agree on most issues that you post about, and I am always impressed how you
research the topics you post about!

Gas tax revenues across the country have declined astronomically due to improved fuel economy. I don't think we have much of a choice if we want to improve and maintain our infrastructure.

That all goes to pensions as giving fat pensions to cronies takes precedence over providing services and maintaining infrastructure for the people of Illinois.

They didn't earn the pensions, the Dems promised them to govt employees to buy their votes and then stupidly proceeded not to fund them. Meanwhile the taxpayer peasantry have to fund their IRA and 401k's and have more and more of their money that they could be using to fund them taken to fund the pensions of the privileged union elites.
