Hi Dogmomsara,
any update?
Im considering moving to Indiana as well, but first i'm doing my researches, South Florida is getting out of hand, traffic, taxes, school, jobs etc are driving me crazy. I went to logansport last week and i loved it. my oldest son wish we can move tomorrow but is not happening, i need to look at everything, i can ask for a transfer in my job but it will be Lebanon, I've check the forum to find post to Lebanon with no success. Probably not in lebanon but around i don't mind to commute.

What exactly appealed to you about Logansport? I've only driven through the town once, but I feel like Indiana has better towns and cities to offer than Logansport.

Hi. I still am hoping to move to Indiana. I think there is more affordable land than Ohio in general. I have applied for jobs but am not sure it will be taken seriously not yet living there. I wasn't able to visit in February or March and now my main job with better pay using college and experience has closed. I am still working and saving. Really don't want another hot summer or the traffic/humidity, etc. of FL. Tennessee and North Georgia still get a lot of heat also. I have tried making Ocala work even just for the time being. I will follow both of your progress. We have 2 mini horses and 2 mini donkeys due to have babies in the next few months. Good luck with your search. Thanks to all for their advice.

I think you'll find Lebanon to be just as quiet as Logansport I'm sure. Maybe a little busier than Logansport due to being right off 65, but most of Lebanon doesn't deal with that traffic.

Either of those towns and probably even Indy would feel much slower paced than Miami, FL. Either of those towns you can probably find homes and land outside town/city limits for an even quieter feel than downtown Lebanon or Logansport, but again both those towns will seem quiet and slow.

Pendleton is a nice community not far from Indy. It's about 20 miles northeast of Indy.

Hi everyone. Thank you so much for your advice and those who have written back to questions. I appreciate your help. I will be flying into Indy on October 4 and staying through the 8th. I have read many of your and others posts, things to see and do, and to check out a few job possibilities. There are many great towns/areas to check out and some fun places to stay it looks like. I have never done the Air B&B's before but there seems to be a huge selection. I even have seen a few places on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and hope to be able to try a couple. I am very excited and looking forward to seeing everything in person.
