I've had mexican food at this place off Range Line in Carmel. I don't remember what it was called. The food was great though. I don't know if the food was great because it was good or it was great because of the 44 oz margarita I had. Cheers.

Ughh.. Acapulco Joe's is terrible. I'm Mexican and really the only place I totally loved was a taquerÃa inside a grocery store (Guanajuato on McCarty). Best tacos I ever tasted outside of Mexico.
El torito is amazing too but it incorporates a few tex-mex elements which aren't my cup of tea. I used to love Adobo but I heard it went down

Try to find a Chipotle'....mmmm mmmm spicy. Don't care much for "Authentic" mexican food...but we sure do love the chain ones.
Tijuana Flats is another good chain restaurant. Really good Chimichunga's.
And yes I have had Authentic right off the "DIRT CART." That is what they call them down here in Florida. So I will stick with the chains
