Irsay and Grigson have repeatedly referred to this as "a new era in Colts football." Recycling Dungy, therefore, makes no sense. Besides, none of the more credible media sources have indicated that he's a candidate.

Yeah Dungy did meet with Irsay but said today he has no plans to return to coaching.

the only reason they would want dungy back is to get Peyton back ... neither is happening.

Will Jim Tressel be the new head coach?? WTHR is reporting that he has interviewed twice now for the position.

I have hoped for this since he joined the Colts.

Good lord.. I hope not!!! All of the sudden, Caldwell sounds really good! That would be horrible if they hired that washed up, 63 year old college coach with ZERO NFL experience..... "Run..Run...Run... PUNT..." style won't be pretty in Indy after the past 12 years of really fun offense.

I am not sure if tressell would be the answer for the cots.
Look at nick saban for example.

one of the best coaches in the collegiate ranks and could not get a system put together in miami.

why dont the colts get the blow hard from nd (kidding of course)

if you want to take a guy from the college ranks the guy at wisconsin seems to be a winner

havent really followed any thing on the colts but is manning coming back?
