Iowa photo thread
Would anyone be willing to post some of their photos of Iowa? I don't have any recent ones, but I will look for some old ones if I have them. Old and recent would be great!

I'll help start this out with a few I've taken. These are in rural Black Hawk County:

Just after a strong thunderstorm.

A row of Black Willows near some timber.

A quiet bridge over the Wapsi on a rainy day.

Kind of a drabby picture, but I'm proud of it anyway. lol.

Wouldn't be right without a winter picture.
---> I may add some more later after more people post!

Here's some pictures I took around Iowa City this summer. I have a few more of different things that I might post later on as well. I kinda like that drabby one, metro!

On the Sycamore Greenway bike trail south of Iowa City.

A stoplight and intersection waiting for houses to be built around it, south of Iowa City.

At the Solon Beef Days last summer.

3rd attempt to post this
This is a store called Dlask that was on Ellis Blvd., in Cedar Rapids. I used to go here A LOT in the 1970's. My older brothers used to bribe me into going there for them. They would say, "i will buy you a candy bar if you go". Of course I would say "OK". Then they would give me all the money in pennies. They were too embarrassed to go themselves with all those pennies . And the cashier ladies weren't too happy to see me either because the knew they would have to count all those pennies too . lol

This picure was taken in 1999. Dlask was torn down and this replaced it. The neighborhood looks much better now.

Looks like it's just us three so far...so here go some more!

The Monroe Co. courthouse in Albia from a few months back...

The Iowa City skyline from the very tippy-top of one of the parking ramps downtown...
