Some male coaches have had sex with their student athletes, thus ALL male coaches must be prevented from ever coaching again! There are bad apples in every job role and vocation out there. The mature thing is to understand that broad brushing entire groups of people makes a person look small, petty, and insular.
It's abundantly clear that you wouldn't EVER give a gay or trans person the benefit of the doubt and I'm sure it would take all of your strength to maintain comfort within the presence of a gay or trans person.
