I have been searching for a job going on 2 months.

I have had 4 interviews, didn't hear back from any of them.

Sometimes employers hire the wrong person (based upon personality or nepotism), and then bemoan how they can't find any qualified, reliable person to fill the job.

It is all the luck of the draw when trying to fill a job or when trying to find a job. There really isn't a science to it.

They usually hire the wrong person because the person BSed their way to the job. The entire job process is biased towards extroverted, bubbly personalties. I may not be the most outspoken guy on the team but at least Ill be there every single day and do the job drama-free. And then the employer complains that they cannot find reliable, productive employees.

I got a good laugh today.

6 months ago, I applied at a local mold injection company. Got interviewed after the interviewer didn't even care to talk with me, nor bring the check sheet (Check my math against the answer sheet) then had a "I like to check memory" and then asked me what I remember of the "Benefits offered" page he gave.

Needless to say, I didn't get the job...So, I kept with my old job and also got a new one later...What have I seen about every 2 weeks but the SAME company trying to get another worker!

I am so tempted to apply again and simply say "Guess you were too stupid to see the best worker you could have had, has already gotten a better job and you'll never get a second chance you hire them"

Nah. You don't forget to ride a bike or drive a stick shift after five years. Employers like to think an applicant is stupid now because he/she hasn't sat in the same seat forever doing the same job in a rote manner. But that is a major misconception. I guarantee if you drop a "gapped applicant" into the same job they did ten years ago, that person would pick up the job like it was yesterday.

You know what would be good. Send your resume again with a different name, but all the same work history. Then show up for the interview and then say "Guess you're were too stupid to remember the exact same resume again from before." Flip him the bird and walk away.

That happened some years back at my job - we'd hired someone in my work area who turned out not to be the best employee, and a co-worker who was on the hiring panel later told me that she'd had a feeling they weren't seeing the "real" person when this guy did his interview.
