Our farmer's market is not enormous if you are comparing it to a large metro area. Local farmers and others run it on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We have riverboat rides, a scenic train ride, the beautiful Tennessee Theater, the Bijou, the new Riviera Cinema, Mast General Store and many nice restaurants. I think a day of it or two would be nice with perhaps a show afterwards. We also have some great outdoor concerts here, that are free and held in Market Square.

Thanks for the quick replies,

The Market Square are and Gay ST. are what I have read about. It sounds like it would be an active downtown are in a good way and worth spending the time there.

What do I dislike about Knoxville? Here's what I don't like about Knoxville..........the fact that I'm not living there yet!!
My home in Tampa goes on the market in a couple months, so please, everyone cross your fingers and toes for me for a buyer.

Trust me, I'm working on it! I've got a list of little projects that need to get done, to make the house as attractive as possible.
