Good schools IF you are in the city limits. The same house in the city will be $20K more than one in an unincorporated area. Close to Knoxville which is too much like Florida (very congested) for my taste.
Maryville is a very popular destination for relo's so there's less "You ain't from 'round here, are ya'?"
I was originally going to move to Maryville but after visiting in February I decided to go to Johnson City instead. I dodged a bullet there.
