best bet is to come to vegas over the weekend, visit your new job then drive around the area to find a decent place you like . just a thought.

Default traffic on 15

northbound at Trop / Russell it jams up at about 2 p.m. (early compared to most cities). Southbound at the same time is usually pretty good until you get south of Russell. Then it's a mess because of the 215. However, they are widening it (through Decatur), but that area is a mess.

Actually, these days, Russell isn't too bad in the afternoon if you want to avoid the mess on 215. The lights are set up to pull you through real nice to Decatur. After that, pick your poison if you're going south.

If your planning on commuting from the one side of the town to the other, then god help you. Doesn't really matter which way.
