Now that Wynn and Encore are about to start charging, my question will be with regards to the Fashion Show Mall. Lets hope that they won't start charging for shoppers OR at minimum validate customer parking.

We just stayed at Treasure Island last week...free parking.

Also did the $20 Trick and got upgraded from a basic room to a suite. But that's another conversation...

Caesars properties offer free parking for locals. You just have to scan the barcode on your driver license.

that's good to know

they also have a credit card that includes a platinum players card upgrade for free self parking and free valet parking. should they start to charge locals, might be a good option for those that go there enough

Pretty much what MGM does with their credit card. I have theirs already. I'm not getting another credit card so I can park one property closer to where I'm going.

I think it may stay. It's one thing to charge (presumably) free spending tourists/conventioneers to park. Locals may be less than a zero sum game as far as charging. Of course MGM doesn't think so.

While paying for parking is annoying, it isn't material.

That depends on who's parking. I could see it being a decision point for a local looking to go out for a nice dinner.
