I spend time on The Gear Page because I'm a guitar player. There's lots of great info and videos in this thread about F1. Also lots of videos about restaurants.

I learned more about Vegas in that thread than I have in the five years I've lived here.

It will be interesting to see how full the grandstands are for the race.

Hope they dress warm and bring a blanket.

Sure the streets are a mess but this is epic and one more thing to make Vegas a truly special place to visit... and to live! I feel blessed to live here! Yes, I will be going to F1!

I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but the amount of negative comments on social media about F1 is something else. I get that tearing up the streets has been a huge inconvenience and I feel sorry for the people that have to work down there, but to hope that this thing is a failure and makes LV look bad just doesn't sit right with me. I'd be willing to bet that 90% of those people whining about it never go to the Strip anyway.

This race is here for 10 years whether they like it or not. Since the infrastructure is done, future years should be better, and I would hope they could work out some of transportation kinks down the road. This has the potential to be a huge money-maker for the city and I'm hoping it's great success. Nobody should want their city to look like a failure.

I often wonder why people post links to random influencer youtube videos. Its not like people look at them.
