Ah that's right--my apologies. Interstate 15 is the east-west dividing line. I have to get out of the habit of thinking that Las Vegas Boulevard is the dividing line.

Ah okay. I looked at a map and it appears that way. Is the dividing point remotely close to 15? I'm sure once one figures out where north, south, east, and west are, it isn't too difficult to understand.

It is actually a benchmark originally done by the UP in downtown Las Vegas.

It is generally closer to LV Blvd than to I15. But it mostly lies between the two. For istance check the Artisan Hotel. It is around 1500 W. Sahara...but it is to the east of I15.
