Midland, MI? The Dow Gardens are beautiful. Actually, that whole area is nice. We had a cottage near there and some good friends live there. Was actually up there about a month ago. Anyone catch that article, last week, on the flashlight caper in Phoenix? Someone is going around Phoenix, leaving flashlights lying around at various locations, and if you pick it up, flick it on to see if it works, it explodes!
They've got billboards around Phoenix warning people of picking up flashlights, and Goodwill/Salvation Army are not accepting them as donations, as a result of it.
The FBI is now involved in this case, and it will be interesting to see if they find who's doing it and why!

I will definitely avoid flashlights for now. I always use my little piggy keychain/light. (for finding things in my purse)
