I am going to do what I should have done a long time ago. My friends and I are going on a vacation to Reno.

Thanks, I will. My friends from Phoenix are going to pick me up, and we are going to see that Hot August Nights extravaganza they have going on up there.

Good luck with your HOA. I personally believe an HOA should not bother anyone about anything that improves the look of a home. They need to focus on the people that neglect their homes.

During the end of March this year my father-in-law planted 4 tomato plants from Home Depot. 3 died a slow death with one of the 3 producing one cherry sized tomato. The fourth one looks like it got hit with a gamma radiation growth ray. I also planted about 30 different seeds of fruits and vegetables.

I have never had a garden before and did not research at all on what would grow and what would not grow in Vegas climate.

I pretty much dug a bunch of holes and dropped seeds from a packet in it. My goal was "only the strong will survive". I have to manually water the garden, sometimes I remember, sometimes I forget.

I didn't have to read this, I've known it all along: Vacations are not a luxury, they're necessities, like food and water.

Even if the vacation ends up being a disaster, you still benefit. We will all see the benefits after your return!

If you like cars, that car museum on the river is a must, as well as their riverfront walk.

Hot August Nights is about cars!! I found my dream car there. It is a lot like fremont st. really fun. Vintage Cars are the focus. Vacations are so necessary I want one today.

Too bad I am launching a new project that could mean 1000's of jobs that I have friends and family lined up to take.
Swimming is on the menu today and everyone who wants can swim at the Rio without being a guest at the hotel. They have a great kids area, not as fun as Mandalay Bay or the Shark tank but still beach like.

I am planning a vacation to Moab, last weekend we went fishing and my grandson caught an 17 inch trout in a matter of minutes. We were on the boat for hours and he is the only one who could catch anything. He used a glob of powerbait, neon green with glitter. LOL

Last time Pacquiao fought in Vegas my husband and I saw it from the Wynn. I missed the fight this time
If I was a betting person I would have placed every penny on Pacquiao to win another one. I am shocked

I personally hate Fremont street, but I really want to spend time with my friends. That is the most important thing. I have decided I am not going to Hot August Nights in Reno after finding out 800,000 people go there and make it a crowded mess. I am willing to go the Hot August Nights in Lake Tahoe, so I will have to run that by my friends to see what they think.
