What are some common scams to avoid in Vegas? It looks like the latest scam is these people charging to do "loan modifications." I've seen a lot of ads on
craigslist classifieds: jobs, housing, personals, for sale, services, community, events, forums , and it looks very shady. Nothing like taking money from people, who are already down on their luck.

Now for the scam warning from the OP...I've been seeing those ads pop up all over as well, but I also saw lots of advertising for this in SoCali recently, so it's not only here in Las Vegas.
I would never look on Craigslist for any loan mod folk anyways, even if I had a loan that needed modifying...
