No but I did see John Glenn blast off way back I believe it was 1963? at then Cape Canerviral. JFK had not been shot yet. I was about 9 or 10 at the time and it was a marvel to see and my parents could not believe it. I got to see the small capsual he went up in in 1967 at the worlds fair in Montreal amazing what was used for space travel then and how these men survived. I believe that was the gemi program ( spelled wrong). I am sure seeing todays space shuttles launch are just as exciting and amazing as this was many years age. No ocean landings for the shuttle. Enjoy and 30 or more years from now you can pass along your story about the last space shuttle to go up.

Aw, that makes me sad...I so love space. It feels like we are dooming ourselves as a society by not being more prolific in that regard.

Police put extra 'eyes' on Henderson roads - FOX5 - KVVU - Las Vegas, News, Weather and Video

Not particularly the same thing but Henderson police cars are now being outfitted with cameras that will simultaneously run all plates of cars around the vehicle instantly.

Last night about 12:30 our power went out. I looked outside and all the streetlights behind our home were on...I then looked out front and our neighbors lights were on. We checked our power box and it was not only open but the main braker had been flipped off...someone shut our power off!

I was up, lights were on, a movie was going...

My guess: a Peeping Tom was peeking into your window, saw that you were watching a horror flick, an ear-to-ear grin appeared on his face, and flipped the main braker. Quite possibly, he was a mischievious Aries or Gemini.

A learning lesson for you, Lyra! Keep those blinds closed the next time you watch a horror movie!
