Remember that pizza resteruant in the Broadway Mall? Used to be where Panera is now. It was a Pan Pizza place, there used to be one in Massapequa too. I think it was called My Pie or something like that?
I ate at Pauly's Pizza in Farmingville the other day and the food was amazing. I have been back several times since and I have decided it is the BEST pizza place I have ever been to. The specialty pies are out of this world the regular pizza is great. Everything I have had there has been the best quality and tasted great. And his prices are very good for the quality of the food. This is not a place to miss. If you are ever near the farmingville area you must stop in for a slice or two.
Phils Pizza in Massapequa on 107 I think still makes the best sicillian...I used to eat there all the time. I left LI but when I visit I go( been about 2 years). It still is great.
Alberts in Copiague was really good too.
Mama theresas in NHP and East Meadow was another good one.

I lived in the area adn loved Phil's Sicillian pies! My parents used to order the everything pie (no anchovies) and it was to die for.
Next time I make an All American run, I have to hit Phil's for a slice.

Don't know how long it's been since you ate there, but a few years ago they redid the whole place so it's kinda/sorta fancy looking now. Pizza got a little better too, IMO.....personally I always preferred Brooklyn Boys across the street but they're terrible now. Don't know what happened....their white spinach was my favorite slice in the world at one time!

It has been over 10 years.
I don't recall what the pizzeria in the former A&P shopping center was called, but lat time I was there (over 25 years ago) it wasn't Brooklyn Boys. I just remember going in there in HS with some friends one afternoon. We put some change into the jukebox and for some bizarre reason, the song, Renegade (by Styx), kept playing over and over and over. If I hear that song I still think of that day in the pizzeria.
My old boyfriend worked for a pizzeria in East Meadow, Pietro's, and the owner there used to put sesame seeds on the crust (by request) It was delicious. I've tried to get that out here, but no one does it
