What about non-uppity rich people? Those who made their own money (honestly) tend, I find, to be much more down-to-earth than the Ph. D. (Poppa Has Dough) types or the dopes who win lotteries or run shady bidnesses.

Yes. North Wantagh has levit homes. However the majority of them have already been dormered and more and more will continue to do so. However the fact remains that Massapequa and Merrick are in close proximity to undesirable sections. I don’t understand how any would want to live in a great area of Massapequa but then if I cross a certain line/point, it’s no longer desirable. At the end you’re going to share public areas with those people.
Oh no! God forbid you pass somebody in the Mall that happens to look different from you...or even worse, what if one of “those people” get seated at a table in Applebee’s while you’re still eating?
Your post is just sickening.. Just b/c somebody has a certain mailing address or looks different from you doesn’t mean that they’re out to get you. Most are just minding their business and going about their daily lives. Heck, some probably even make more money than you!
Long Island CLEARLY still has a loooong way to go. What’s even worse than the post itself is how nobody even called this person out (their post was on page 2 and we’re now all the way on pg 7).

What are you talking about? It’s extremely documented that there are sections of both Huntington and Massapequa with a large # of MS13 and other gang population. Forgive me for not wanting to live in a town in close proximity to them. You’re a moron.
MS-13 don't normally mess with "regular" folks, or the general population.
I beg to differ. My sister is a substance abuse counselor for the NYC BOE, and the information she receives from a handful of LI schools with MS13 members is alarming.

You didn’t specifically state that you were referring to gang members in that post.
The way that your post was worded left plenty of room for people to infer that you were talking about all inhabitants of neighborhoods that you deem “undesirable”.
Gang members, heroin, meth and all kinds of vice are all over Long Island. They’re in “desirable” towns (especially the hard drugs) and “undesirable towns”. Just remember that..
Ok perhaps I should of been clearer. But I don’t think it really makes a difference. Undesirable towns = high crime, that includes a lot of Suffolk towns with high “white” population. It’s about to be 2020, and we need to stop being sensitive about everything and using the race card for everything. Undesirable does not mean people of color.
